The Museum of African Culture is a non-profit organization created to interpret and preserve a unique collection of sub-Saharan African art; to expand understanding of African cultures through educational programs that incorporate art, music, storytelling, films, poetry, and spiritual ceremony; and finally, to enrich the communities of Maine and beyond through the celebration of diversity.
The street location is permanently closed… however, the mobile outreach educational programs are available all year. Schedule a visit.
